i have no clue what me and my group are doing . we have many things we want to do but most of our ideas get turned down or another group has that topic we want to do . I think we just need some ideas or some inspiration to help us figure out a idea .
My project is on volcanoes. Not just the subject of volcanoes but how we can decrease the affect it has on the society. We are going to use many examples form the past and mny resources to learn how the volcanoe works. Once we have becaome experts on how volcaoes work, we will start asking the question how can we stop it or decrease it's affect? My hypothesis is to use the Mt. St. Helens blast as an example to solving the problem. Group Members: Jordan Sanchez, Antonio Cuadrado
My group and I are going to do a design exit project. We are going to do our exit project on how the terrain on Mars affects the Mars rover and how we can fix problems with the rover. We came up with this idea during our trip to the Museum of Natural History. We are going to get information on the rover and find out how it works. We are then going to look at problems that the rover has and try to design a solution to those problems. Group Members: Joseph Lawlor and Robert Ventura
My group has some ideas about what we want to do. We all decided we wanted to do feild work, so that wat we could go out to the zoo, or the aquarium and do our project. At first we decided to do a project on elephant-seals, and to see how global warming/polution affects them. But when we went to the Aquarium there was no elephant-seals in the winter (it was too cold.) So we changed our project idea, and now we are talking about doing a project on a type of monkey, like a spider monkey or something.
My group is planing to study the Earth's rotation. We will probably look at the moon and the stars each night. This way we can tell how long it takes for the earth to rotate in a full circle. We are also going to study how the moon effects the Earth's rotaion. My question that I want to answer for our project is, how does the moon effet the earth's rotation more than the sun?
I am working with Jade Robinson and Kalene Santana. We are going to buy aquatic plants and put them in tanks of water. We are going to keep one tank of water normal, for ouir control. For the other two tanks, we are going to add fertilizer and other substances. We are going to watch what happens to the plants, and we are going to find out how he percent of oxgyen, nitrogen, etc. with probes that Matt is going to supply us with.
Sergio and I are working on the green roof topic. We are going to test the living roof with water heat and that sort of stuff. My mum introduced me to this topic and ever scince I thought it was intresting. I am very exsited to see how this will work.
